40th BIRTHDAY PARTY
Please put the 9th November 2013 in your diary as we would like everyone to attend our 40th birthday party being held in the gym starting at 2.00 p.m, (gymnasts to warm up at 1.30 p.m.)
The afternoon will consist of display routines by all the gymnasts, presentations of awards and a very short AGM. In the evening we will be holding a Quiz Night with a fish and chip supper.
What can you do to help? We would like to decorate the gym with 40th birthday cards prepared by the gymnasts. The cards should be on A4 paper and handed into the gym on 2nd November. You may remember we decorated the gym with various flags for our Olympic Fun Day and it looked lovely.
Detailed timings will be available a little closer to the event. However, we do need to know how many people will attend (so we can get the appropriate number of chairs in the gym!) also how many will attend the Quiz Night so we can order the fish and chips. An order form will be available shortly.
We will of course be applying for funding to help with this event and if any parents work for Barclays Bank, or other big corporations would it be possible to apply to them for funding or raffle prizes?
This is an important anniversary for the club and we are trying to contact as many ex-gymnasts as possible to come and join us so please do come along and see what everyone does in their gym sessions!!
Be prepared though, to get up and join in for one or two things!!
